About the Role
Our talented Customer Success Specialists are accountable for ensuring the successful management of all aspects of DecisionNext software implementations and ongoing customer success activities, resulting in timely completion of projects, customer sign-off, project acceptance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all or parts of software implementations by coordinating with customers’ users as well as DecisionNext science and product teams to deliver project plans on time.
- Identify, reach, influence, and build relationships with key decision makers.
- Ensure implementations of DecisionNext software are successful by working with customers during and after the implementation to drive adoption.
- Lead change management processes, conduct user trainings, and coordinate with the internal product and science teams to help users fully embed DecisionNext tools into their processes.
- Develop commodity market expertise through an understanding of statistical and econometric modeling techniques. Ability to relay information from models in order to improve customer decision-making.
- Understand customer business models and identify opportunities where data and analytics can improve processes, pricing, and contracting decisions.
- Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.
- Support Account Executives in later-stage sales cycles to scope opportunities and identify solutions to drive customer value, as well as facilitate the handoff from Sales to CS.
Core duties and requirements:
- Manage customer relationships during implementation and operations.
- Set and manage client expectations; partner with clients and colleagues on assigned projects to identify solutions to business problems.
- Provide regular status reports/KPIs to the management team
- Become a subject matter expert on company offerings and implementation steps, and provide assistance to the sales team in selling professional services to clients.
- Ensure successful completion of quality product and solution implementations utilizing strong leadership, project and resource management skills, manage workload while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction with the delivery of professional services
- Develop and follow project timelines for all projects utilizing standard implementation documentation
- Responsible for issue recognition, identification and application of appropriate resources necessary to resolve issues, status reporting, and overall management of issues through resolution
Hiring Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an applied quantitative field (Economics, Agricultural Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Business or similar), with 3+ years of experience
- Or Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with quantitative/statistical/econometric data analysis
- Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to take on tough challenges and find new ways of being successful.
- Ownership for performance and results. Ability to set team Goals/Strategy and measure progress through KPIs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You write and speak clearly, briefly, effectively, and professionally.
- Ability to professionally and confidently interact with executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with remote teams
- Ability to travel 25% of the time to meet with customers and prospects.
- A pragmatic approach coupled with the ability to thrive under the pressure of constant change and moving objectives as the organization grows
Bonus Experience:
- Experience in meat, food, agriculture, or natural resources
- Experience with analytics or data science, specifically time-series data
